Engineering, Procurement and Construction giants, DOTT Services Limited, has undertaken to complete the construction of the Lower Kololo Terrace road ahead of the Presidential Swearing in ceremony on May 12, 2026.
The Project Engineer Dhanaraaju said that DOTT Services was putting final touches to uphold the beauty and strategic importance of the road.
He said that the Infrastructure Project Developers under the supervision of MBW, had laid new layers of tarmac and constructed covered drainage channels and walkways so as to diversify the modes of transport in the leafy suburb of Kampala.
Lower Kololo Terrace which stretches from Acacia Avenue and terminates into Wampewo Avenue, is located just astride the Kololo Independence Ceremonial Grounds.
President Yoweri Museveni is going to be sworn in for his seventh term in office and thousands of local and international guests are expected to attend the event at Kololo Independence Ceremonial Grounds and use the road.
Ms. Rose Mutesi, one of the regular road users and employee of Housing Finance Bank which is headquartered on the road, praised KCCA for allocating the road to an experienced firm like DOTT Services.
She said that DOTT Services had done excellent work on the Lower Kololo Terrace road to improve access to the high end offices and residences located there.
