Kampala Capital City Authority has tarmacked a key artery road in Kasubi Ward to reduce traffic jam on the busy Hoima Road.
The Mayor of Rubaga Division, Mr. Zaacky Mberese Mawula said that the tarmacking of the 0.22km Nkula Road that connects the Nabulagala Road to Hoima Road, will also boost trade in Kasubi Market,.
He told Kigezi News in an interview that the tarmacking of the Nkula Road is a big relief to the residents of the populous National Housing Flats who have been contending with huge traffic headed to Nansana and Wakiso.

23TT Services who are constructing the road under the supervision of M/S MBW Consulting.
The DOTT Services Project Manager, Eng. Dhanaraju said that road will have covered drains, pedestrian walk ways and underground utility ducts so as to boost safety, trade and service delivery along the road.
The Engineer revealed that they are constructing stone embakments to retain walls in the heavily built up residential area.
One of the residents and a landlord of the area, Mr. Christopher Kizito said that the improved road would improve trade and property values in Rubaga Division.
He praised DOTT Services for getting a lasting solution to the drainage challenges in the area.
