There were 29 deaths between 27th July to 2nd August 2020 caused by malaria disease in Uganda. Hoima Regional Referral Hospital recorded the highest number at four death.
Ministry of Health is concerned with these Malaria death, an audit has been ordered in each malaria death so as to to set up measures to prevent similar events in the future as well as to rule out that no COVID-19 death are reported as Malaria.

Bunyangabo, Bushenyi, Isingiro, Kabale, Kabarole, Kakumiro, Kanungu, Kasese, Kazo,Koboga, Kisoro, Kyankwanzi, Lyantonde,Mbarara, Mitooma, Nakaseke, Ntotoko, Ntugamo, Rubanda, Ruburizi, Rukiga, Rukungiri,
Rwampara and Sheema.
The 29 deaths decreased by 1 compared to last week. The highest were from Hoima, Hoima Regional Referral Hospital Hoima 4
