Hearing of the case in which Godfrey Wamala, the prime suspect in the murder of Moses Sekibogo aka ‘Mowzey Radio’ began today at the High Court, Entebbe.
Wamala dubbed Troy is accused of killing the famed musician and entertainer at a bar in Entebbe last year.
Prosecution alleges that on January 22nd, 2018, Wamala beat Moses Sekibogo, a former member of the celebrated ‘Goodlyfe Crew’ at De Bar in Entebbe.
The two are said to have been involved in a fist fight when Wamala threw the singer to the ground inflicting serious head injuries that later led to his death at Case Hospital in Kampala on Feb 1,2019.
Wamala was officially read the charge of murder on Monday to which he pleaded not guilty.
Now hearing of the case started this morning before Justice Jane Abodo at Entebbe High Court.
Wamala aka Troy was among 40 suspects in capital offences brought before Justice Jane Frances Abodo who will oversee a 40 day hearing of criminal offences at the High Court in Entebbe.
