GOVERNMENT SHOULD INCREASE MONEY FOR LOAN SCHEME TO HELP STUDENTS GOING TO THE UNIVERSITY.
Minister Bahati made this call while representing the Prime
minister of the republic of Uganda Dr. Livingstone Ruhakana
Rugunda as the guest of honor on the20th graduation
ceremony held at the university grounds today 11th/10/2019.
He encouraged Parents and students that the government is
working hard to increase it loan scheme project so that
students without ready cash can study and then pay later.
In his speech Bahati said that government has done its part of
providing a free and a good environment where everyone can
do whichever business he/she wishes to do so it’s high time
graduates should apply the Knowledge they have acquired
from the collage to start their own business but not basing on
the Transcripts they have been awarded only.
Speaking at the same function, the chancellor of Uganda
Christian University and the outgoing Archbishop of the
church of Uganda His grace Stanly Ntagali has thanked the parents for their commitment in paying the dues for their
students and challenged the graduates to use the knowledge
they got from the collage to earn a living.
