High Stakes as Tunisia rival parties claim victory in Sunday’s parliamentary elections

The two rival parties at Sunday’s Tunisia parliamentary elections have both claimed victory in the country’s elections for the legislative assembly.

Officials from the moderate Islamist party Ennahda and those from the Qalb Tounes party of the jailed media tycoon and presidential contender Nabil Karoui have claimed victory for either party at media conferences after Sunday’s ballot.

The largest party in parliament will nominate a prime minister.
