Uganda u – 20 head coach Morley Byekwaso has addressed a press conference ahead of Uganda’s encounter with Eritrea at their CECAFA u -20 match today.
Byekwaso expressed his satisfaction with the team’s preparations ahead of the game.
“Our team is prepared well and focussed that we take on the opponents,” he said.
“We are injury free. We have six hurdles to jump in this championship. We know every team will fight on the day,” he added.
Meanwhile, Gavin Kizito, Uganda’s under 20 captain says their heart is set on the trophy.
“Most of us are from the youth set up having played in the FUFA Juniors League U-17 and for the national U-17 team. We expect to play well throughout the tournament and with one heart to win the trophy at home. We have prepared well and shall follow the coaches’ instructions,” he said.
